Vanessa L. Crakes

Professional:

Vanessa is the firm’s newest associate attorney. Her practice focuses on labor and employment law, including collective bargaining negotiations, grievances, unfair labor practices, and employee discipline. Vanessa graduated from the University of Oregon School of Law in 2002. After law school Vanessa clerked for a circuit court judge and then spent several years in private practice. For the past decade, she has conducted and overseen investigations into workplace concerns of harassment, discrimination, and retaliation. Vanessa draws on her experience to provide practical, proactive advice to assist clients in identifying and addressing workplace concerns before they become more complex.

Personal:

Outside of the office, Vanessa spends her time with her husband, daughter, son-in-law, and twin sons. She enjoys outdoor activities including dog walking, camping, and river rafting.
